Dashain & Tihar Drive 2004

We are very pleased to let know people that we have accomplished what we had planned, developed and finally executed "Dashain & Tihar Drive 2004" with a deep rooted passion for what we call "Helping-By the Nepalese for the Nepalese."

All of us have our cherished reminiscences of the early years of growing up and these have a special place in our Heart. But there are children who do not have much to be happy about their childhood. They have no dreams but jostle with nightmares even when they are awake of abuse, criminal parents, of no education.

But even dreams of disadvantaged children can be fulfilled, if someone spares a thought for them or leads a helping hand. And then the dreams take wing. Thus, to create festival environment of Dashain & Tihar festival to those jail & orphan children and also to use the time rightly to spare time doing something for those children during the festival, the event was organized dated 9th November, 04 by OnlyAtNepal, Nepal Scout District Office, Kathmandu in co-operation with The Mystic, Mantra International and other volunteers.

Being an IT based company, OnlyAtNepal has been developing many projects based on Information Marketing on social and commmercial fields. In this regard, OnlyAtNepal is pleased to introduce our annual event, "Winter Collection Drive 2004" this winter too.

"Winter Collection Drive" is the program conceived and developed by OnlyAtNepal as a pilot project that was targeted to help the underprivileged and ethnic people and to encourage Recyling and Garbage control among the city people. The campaign carried out by OnlyAtNepal, "Helping the poor - By the Nepalese for the Nepalese", undertaken to both to help the poor of Mugu District and to inspire enthusiasm for altruistic activities in the Nepalese people, was even more successful than had been hoped. The overwhelming success of the project has made OnlyAtNepal more confident to make it an annual event and thus approached to more districts such as Mugu, Morang and Kanchanpur District.
