Smart Search 2004 is a new and updated Telephone Directory for computer users incorporates many useful features. Although built on the same concept
and theme as previous versions, Smart Search 2004 is an entirely new creature- one that has been evolving for more than one year now. It got all the updated
and categorized telephone numbers of Nepal, including STD codes for all the districts and cities in Nepal along with Tariff details. It also has many
essential features that you will find using your computer an easy experience.
The useful features of Smart Search are:
- Directory: Here you can find telephone numbers from all over Nepal. Just select the district/City and find whatever you want. You can find
information by First Name, Last Name, Address, Telephone Number or any combination of first name, last name, address, and telephone.
You can display information on alphabetical order and this information can be arranged for first or last name. You can Sort displayed information
on First Name, Last Name, Address, Telephone number in ascending or descending order. If you login, you can even move selected contacts to your
personal information manager (My Contacts) that can be accesses by you only.
- ISD Codes: Here you can find International calling codes for most of the countries in the world. You can even find city codes in different
countries. Just select the country and select the city in it and you get Country code along with the city code you are looking for.
- STD Codes: Here you can find STD codes for all the districts and cities in Nepal. Just select the place and u get STD code along with Tariff
details. Tariff detail includes calling price per minute in normal, business and off hours.
- Emergency Numbers: Here you can find numbers and addresses to places you may need in case of urgency. The list includes numbers not only inside
the valley of Kathmandu but outside valley too.
Select the type of emergency service you are looking for and select the city you want to look for.
The list of emergency services includes hospitals, blood banks, police, electricity, funeral services, night taxi etc.
- My Contacts: This is a password protected Personal Information Manager. You can store your contacts in different groups so that it becomes easy
for you to find any contact as and when needed.
It also gives u an option to search contacts on the basis of their names, phone, mobile, fax, email etc. just type a few words and get all the
information you are looking for. You can edit any contact and put a note in textual format. You can send mail from the same screen.
- Weblinks: We call it the Control Center or the Hub. This is a real innovation and this feature makes web surfing easier for those who are not
very much aware of computers. They can check mails; find information and much more on the web.
You can maintain Links to your favourite web pages. And just one click will take you to that web page. You don't need to know how a browser works
or how to open a website in the browser.
We give you links to different schools, collages, ministries and government sectors so that you can get information you need and you can even
access different forms for different purpose in order to save your time and time.
You can open your default mail client for this screen to send and receive mails.
Features like updates, add/modify details will help you to keep Smart search updated to make sure that you have all the numbers
you could ever look for. Updates are absolutely FREE.
